We have been hard at work adding many new features to Pad4Pad. Continue reading to find out what we have been up to.

School Data/Statistics

We have partnered with Education.com to get school data related to our listings. A forth tab has been added to the listing page. When clicked, we display schools near the location of the listing you are viewing. You can get school details by clicking one of the schools displayed on the map or in the table. We show the following statistics on the school details page: enrollment, student to teacher ratio, ethnicity, gender percentages, state test scores, and general school information.

Vacation Exchange

We are very excited to introduce the Vacation Exchange. The Vacation Exchange is a free feature which allows registered users to list and find vacation swaps. A Vacation Swap is a vacation alternative to reduce expenses in which two families agree to swap homes for a vacation. "You stay in my house while I stay in yours". Anybody can search and view vacation swap listings, but only registered users are allowed to contact the owner of the listing to coordinate a swap.

More Search Options

Users which already have a "Swap Listing" have an additional method to search for swaps. Previously, users searched for swaps by selecting their listing and the search engine used the information saved with the listing when added to search for matches. A new more flexable search option has been added. You can now search by selecting a state for "Properties Offered In" and a state for "Properties Wanted In". Users who do not have a "Swap Listing" will only be able to preview the search results.
