General Listings

Regardless if you are looking for a permanent house swap or just trying to sell your home, Pad4Pad has a several listing options to fit your needs. FREE general listings provide your home exposure to thousands of visitors every month looking to purchase real estate. We receive many listings via our feeds from brokers, agents, and listing publishers. If your property is already in our database you can claim the listing. Once the listing is claimed you will be able to edit the listing. FREE general listings can upgraded to a Swap Listing at any time.

General listings will show up in general searches and house swap searches. General listings will stay active until you delete it. Upgrading to a Swap Listing will give you more search options, allow you to make swap offers, and accept/reject swap offers.

House Swap Listings

In todays depressed housing market many home sellers are looking for creative ways to market their properties. Realizing the market is flooded with homes for sale and limited buyers, a new strategy to turn home sellers into buyers is permanent house swapping.

Permanent house swapping does NOT mean you are trading mortgages or trading payments. Permanent house swapping is ONLY a marketing strategy to find home sellers that have what you want and want what you have. Through Pad4Pads extensive database of house swappers, we will attempt to match you up with potential swaps. Once matched, you follow the normal real estate sales and purchase process. Vacation Swap Listings

Vacation Swap Listings are new to Pad4Pad. This type of listing allows users to search for Vacations Swaps. A Vacation Swap is an vacation alternative to reduce expenses in which two families agree to swap homes for a vacation. "You stay in my house while I stay in yours".

To take advantage of this feature you must enroll or join the Vacation Exchange. Once you have registered on Pad4Pad, Select the Enroll link on the member navigation. Once you have enrolled you can add as many listings as you like, search for vacations swaps, and contact owners to coordinate a vacation swap.

Pricing

The Vacation Exchange is FREE. Membership is valid for 1 year. After a year you will need to re-join the Vacation Exchange.

Feeds

What is a feed

• Feeds are best suited for large internet savy brokers
• A feed is an automated way to push your listings into Pad4Pad.
• Your company generates xml compliant with the Pad4Pad feed format or the Zillow Interchange Format.
• Feeds are a great way to advertise your listings to a larger audience.

How it Works

• Your company provides a xml feed accessible over the internet
• We read the listings in your feed and automatically add/update the listings in Pad4Pad
• The listings from your feed are viewable from searches initiated by our visitors
• The listing agent/owner can claim the listing in Pad4Pad and leverage all the functionality we provide

Feed Options

Pad4Pad is dedicated to providing convenient options for brokers, real estate agents/agencies and property listing publishers to list their properties on Pad4Pad. There are 2 options in feeding listings to Pad4Pad. For frequently asked questions regarding feeds, see our Feed FAQs.

I. Free

You can feed your listings to Pad4Pad for Free! It is as simple as creating a feed compliant with our XML feed specification then submit your feed online for us to process. Once you submit your feed one of our technicians will review and approve the feed. Once approved, we will automatically process your feed weekly.

Listings created in Pad4Pad from a Free Feed can be claimed by the owner or real estate agent. Once claimed you can take advantage of our swap search features. All listings, regardless how they were submitted to our site, will show in "Homes for Sale" searches.

II. For Fee

For a fee based on the number of estimated listings you can feed all of your companies listings to Pad4Pad. Paying customers have access to the broker module in Pad4Pad. The broker module allows you to see all your listings associated to your company in one place, Add/Update/Delete users for your company, and take advantage of our Swap Search functionality.

Community

The Pad4Pad community is a free feature which includes Blogs, Question and Answer forum, and a Professional Directory.

Blogs

Creating a blog on Pad4Pad is a great way to promote yourself as a real estate professional. Additionally, the blogs are a great place to read about Real Estate topics in which you are instrested. The Pad4Pad blogs are not just for Real Estate Professionals they are for any Pad4Pad user which chooses to express their views about real estate. In the near future we will be featuring different blogs on the Community Home page.

Question Answer

Do you have burning Real Estate question you can not find an answer to? The Pad4Pad Question Answer forum is a great place to post your question and find answers quickly. Pad4Pad has thousands of registered real estate professionals who can answer your question. Pad4Pad profiles have been expanded to include fields which allow real estate professionals to input more information about the themselves. Additionally, Your profile can be easily viewed with friendly urls customized by you!

Agent Sites

Are you a real estate agent or broker which needs a web site? Well you are in luck, You can create your own web site via pad4pad which is fully customizable and branded to your company. Simply choose a domain name and a theme and you are off to the races!

You can edit any of the content, upload your own images, add as many properties as you wish, and much more... The properties you add on your site are automatically feed to the master pad4pad database so they are viewable on the pad4pad web site.
